Arnis (Stick Defense), also known as Eskrima or Kali is a versatile and practical combat system that focuses on weapons-based training with sticks, knives, and bladed weapons, along with empty-hand techniques for self-defense. What makes Arnis unique is its emphasis on weapon training from the very beginning, helping students develop quick reflexes, precise coordination, and situational awareness early in their practice. Training includes single-stick, double-stick, knife defense, and empty-hand applications, making it a highly adaptable martial art in real-life scenarios.

Founded in 1978 by Kanazawa Hirokazu, SKIF has grown into an international karate organization with branches in more than 130 countries. It provides a global platform for karate practitioners through technical training, international seminars, instructor development, and world-class competitions.
