A Traditional Karate Tournament gives them the opportunity to apply the true principles of karate beyond regular dojo training—discipline, technique, control, respect, courage, and sportsmanship.
It helps them learn to perform under pressure, face different opponents, accept both victory and defeat with humility, and identify where they can improve.

— KARATE BEYOND BORDERS
The SKIF World Championship brings together SKIF karatekas from around the globe to compete, demonstrate their skills, and share the spirit and tradition of Shotokan Karate.
For our young karatekas, this is more than an international competition. It is an opportunity to challenge themselves, gain valuable experience, meet fellow SKIF karatekas from different countries and cultures, build friendships, and experience the strength of our worldwide SKIF family.
We encourage parents to give their children the opportunity to participate. Experiences like this can become an unforgettable part of their karate journey and inspire them to reach a higher level.
